MY GRIPE REPORT -- The Whole Truth!

I hope you're having a great day on the net!

Today is my youngest son's 30th birthday,
so I'm feeling a bit "aged" shall we say. But,
when I get over this reality, I'll feel 26 again,
like usual (well, on my good days anyway).

OK, enough about me already, let's move on
to the Gripe of the Day!

======================================

My Gripe of the Day: RANDOMIZERS

I can pretty much sum up the way I feel about
RANDOMIZERS with one word...and the word is...
CRAP!

I have tried several of them so far, and I have
received exactly NOTHING, NADA, ZERO, ZILCH!

And the very first one that I joined, way back on
June 12, 2003, STILL has the following text on
the main website:

BLAST4CASH - The #1 Cash Generator on the Internet

We will advertise your web site, and show you
how to duplicate this program with your prospects
again and again, until you get $6500.00 deposited
into your account. GUARANTEED !

Here is my website:
http://blast4cash.us/cgi-bin/B4C/s.cgi?index-BC000333

=====================================

The GOOD NEWS is... they still owe me $6500!

The BAD NEWS is...at the present rate, I won't be
around to collect it :(

In all fairness, in their "Terms of Service" there
is the following disclaimer:

We do not guarantee any time frame as to when you
will make said above amount of money as we are an
affiliate program and we offer to help you succeed.
Blast4Cash provides all members with the tools,
resources and support necessary to earn an income.
It is up to you to use these tools and resources. We
will not refund any of your membership due to lack of
effort on your part. Just like anything else in business,
you get out of it what you are willing to put into it. To
take full advantage of the Blast4Cash opportunity,
you will also want to promote your Blast4Cash site
as well as this will increase your response rate and
enable you to make even more money as well.

====================================

So, I guess they are pretty well covered. I mean, it's
OK to say

"$6,500 IN YOUR ACCOUNT AUTOMATICALLY"

in BOLD TYPE, right on the main page, as long as
they stipulate in the Terms of Service that:

"We do not guarantee any time frame as to when
you will make said above amount of money..."

====================================

As well as this:

We will then email for those 25 new members with your
email address listed in the #2 position below until we
receive 25 orders each for 625 orders with your email
address listed in the #2 position & you will receive
$6,250.00 paid to your Storm Pay or E-Gold Account!

====================================

So, you be the judge. Is this false advertising?
Or am I being to nit-picky?

I might add that at the time I joined, I do believe that
there was no mention of the need to "promote the
page yourself". I am sure that the idea was that they
would promote FOR ME, until I had 625 people
in my downline, and $6,250.00 in my account.

Of course, it didn't take long for me to realize
that this was not going to happen IN MY LIFETIME,
or even the lifetimes of my GRANDCHILDREN!
And so, I am sure that others started to realize
the same thing and began to complain.

That's about the time that the "additional" text
was added to the website.

I requested a refund a few months ago, but never
did get one. Then I sent an email to the admin, telling
them that I thought their program was a scam, and
that I would tell others just that.

At that time, I did receive an email back -- here is
a portion of it:

====================================

So, Cynthia if you want a refund just let us know
and consider it done but don't threaten us as we
do exactly what we say we do. You are not the only
member. You will make money with our advertising
or we will continue to email blast until you do! or we
can refund you as well. It is up to you Cynthia.

====================================

Well, being somewhat of an optimist (somewhat
of an idiot), I decided to give them the chance to
prove themselves to me after all.

Tell me, do you think I have waited long enough?
It's been 5 months now and I have ZERO people
in my downline, and even less than that in my
account, since I am still out the $30 it cost me
to join.

Here are a few other dandy Randomizers which
have paid me exactly the same amount of money --
NOTHING, NADA, ZERO, ZILCH!

Unlimited PayPal Profits - Now defunct

Unlimited StormPay Profits - Now defunct

Flood Market:
http://www.floodmarket.com/

GimmeTheLoot:
http://www.gimmetheloot.com

Now, you might be saying -- "there are much better
Randomizers out there now" -- and you may be right.
But, there are also WAY TOO MANY of them out
there.

In fact, I keep seeing ads that say:

"To make money with a Randomizer, start your own!"

Those ads lead to the following website:

http://hitstop.hypermart.net/randomizer.htm

And just check out the prices to own this Handy Dandy
Greed Machine Script:

http://hitstop.hypermart.net/ordertherandomizer.htm

WOW, why don't we all get one of those, and then
we can grab as much money as we can possibly get
from every newbie and every sucker on the entire
Internet! Oh BOY!

Count me OUT!

Let's face it, even if the owners of these Randomizer
programs DO advertise for their members until the
cows come home, the numbers are IMPOSSIBLE!

The first few in, and the people who actually promote
for themselves are the ONLY ones who will make any
money.

And, isn't that kind of defeating the whole purpose
of it in the first place?

So far, EVERY Randomizer program that I have seen --
and I believe I have seen at least 100 of them in the
last week -- tells me that I WILL make money even
if I don't do a darn thing. So, how can I possibly
promote a program like that if I have yet to receive
any money?

It reminds me of the debate over which came first,
the chicken or the egg, and I say it's the chicken!

Yes, I am sure that I could make money by promoting
a Randomizer myself, but isn't that putting the egg first?
I mean, if the chicken can't produce the egg in the first
place, then I say the chicken is useless. And I don't
want to sell a useless chicken to anybody!

And here's another thing that I don't like about
Randomizers. Most of them offer you the option to
increase your rotation frequency. This means you
can have your ID displayed more often than others
just by paying an extra fee.

In fact, one Randomizer that has just started and
is owned by two highly respected Internet marketers,
offers the option of upgrading your rotation by +500,
for just $500!!!

Now, if you are one of the unlucky saps who joined
this Randomizer, but couldn't afford to upgrade, and
then some Guru who's already made a ton of money
off of other saps buys that +500 upgrade, do you
think you have a FAT CHANCE in H_ _ L of
making any money???

Well, maybe I've just been devoting way too much
time thinking about the whole thing. Maybe I'm losing
my perspective here. After all, the whole idea is to make
money after all. So, if I can make money with it, then
it's ok, right?

NO...and that's my final answer!

My advice on the whole Randomizer thing is this:

If you do want to try your hand at one, make sure you
read the "Terms of Service" first, and then join only
those that don't offer the upgrade options or extra
weight so that everyone has the same chance at
receiving random payments.

Additionally, look for some other value that makes
the program worth your money, such as a Pro Safelist
Membership, or some valuable software or ebooks.
That way, even if you never make a dime, you won't
feel like you wasted your money.

And last, don't advertise the program to others
by telling them that they can "make money in their
sleep without any recruiting whatsoever" unless
you know that to be true.

OK, I guess I've done enough griping for now --

for me these days!

Until Next Time,

Happy Marketing!
