MY
GRIPE REPORT -- The Whole Truth!
First off, I hope you and your loved ones had a
Great Weekend! And I do hope that you were
able
to tear yourself away from your PC long enough
to
spend some time with your family!
Now that your family and friends have had a chance
to verify that you're still on the planet, it's time to start
thinking about and planning your online income
strategies for the coming week!
In this issue of My Gripe Report, I'll tell you about
another program that is NOT working for me, OH JOY!
======================================
Gripe of the Day: MY DOWNLINE CLUB
You know what? I don't even like Downline Clubs,
and never have, so why on earth I joined this little
doozey of a program is beyond me.
If there's one thing I should know after all this time
of marketing on the net it's this: If I don't even like a
program, or something about it rubs me the wrong
way, I SHOULDN'T JOIN IT!
But, I am going to cut myself some slack this one
time, because I was personally called on the phone
by a very experienced marketer who told me that
it was IMMINENT that I join MDC, because it
was making him money hand over fist.
My first mistake was that I didn't even question
him about how exactly it was making him money.
I mean, who am I to question someone who's been
doing network marketing since before I was born
(yeah, right)! Who do I think I am anyway?
So, I went to the website, which I had seen before
(and promptly clicked away) and I took some time
to read it over. Here are a few of the more important
statements that I saw in big bold letters:
NO SPONSORING OR RECRUITING REQUIRED
Benefit from the recruiting efforts of others!!
And, blah blah blah
blah....
Well, silly me. I figured I had nothing to lose. Since they
are going to be recruiting for me, I'll just sign up for free
and wait to see what happens. NOT!
You see, if you remain a free member, NOTHING
HAPPENS. The moment you log into your Member's
Area, this is what you see.
=======================================
Congratulations, you have found the most successful
program on the
Internet today where you do not have to RECRUIT OR SELL TO
MAKE MONEY. We started with 258 personal recruiters and today
have thousands.
That is right there are thousands of recruiters in
our club that recruit
24/7 so YOU DO NOT HAVE TO. When you upgrade to paid
membership there will be many recruiters above you that will sell
memberships inside your downline and every time they do YOU
get paid. Not just a one-time payment but a residual income paid
many times over.
UPGRADE YOUR POSITION NOW!!!
=======================================
And, blah blah blah
blah....
Well, since the program was
still relatively new,
and since it came so highly recommended, I bit the
bullet and shelled out $30 for the upgrade so that
the "heavy hitters" at the top could get started right
away recruiting for me - I didn't want to hold them up!
Of course, understand, I
still didn't like this program.
I knew I wouldn't be promoting it either, at least not
until I saw that it actually performed as stated on
the website.
One thing I didn't like
about it was the domain name.
Here is the actual URL for my website:
http://www.bbpmarketing.com/mydlc.html?5488
Now, if you chop off everything everything
after .com,
you will see that the domain name has nothing to do
with My Downline Club. This, to me, smacks of
an opportunity that was never really meant to stand
the test of time.
Another thing that didn't impress me in
the least was
the Member's Area and the revelation that the actual
product was nothing more than a scrolling ad over to
the side of the page, where your ad is lumped in with
all the others which are continually scrolling off the top.
But, IF the program really worked, I
figured I could
overlook such trivialities. After all, if it's good enough
for 258 of the BEST recruiters on the net, it should
be good enough for me, right?
OK, let's cut to the chase and let me get
my Main
Gripe off of my chest! I'll bet you can even guess what
it is without me saying a thing, but I'll say it anyway.
Even after I upgraded to Paid Member...
NOTHING HAPPENED!
So far, since November 11th, the day I made that
decision to go against my better judgment, those
258 Top Recruiters haven't done a thing for me.
Not even so much as ONE free member has been
placed in My Downline, let alone any Paid Members!
Maybe I'm jumping the gun on this one,
after all, my
$30 paid for a full 3 months of membership, and it's
not been quite two months since I paid, but it doesn't
look too promising to me at this point.
I want to mention that I did complain to
my sponsor,
and what he told me was rather disturbing. He said
that no matter what is stated on the website, there
is NO WAY that my downline can be built for me.
He went on to say that if I want to see people in my
downline, I will have to recruit them myself!
BINGO!
No kidding, I really did know that all
along. I must
have been really gullible on that day, back in November.
I knew it was mathematically IMPOSSIBLE for those
258 Top Recruiters to build the downlines of some
14,000 people (suckers) who have joined in the last
four months.
Just imagine how much more IMPOSSIBLE it
is
becoming with every passing day!
Now, you might be wondering, was my
sponsor
REALLY making all the money he said he was?
YES, of course... he was recruiting like MAD!
One sucker after another! And, since there's one
born every minute, it was EASY for him to do!
And, did any of those suckers make money?
Sure,
the first few in his downline did. Are they STILL
making money? I doubt it. Not unless they are
recruiting like MAD too. And since the main draw
of this program is "NO RECRUITING REQUIRED"
I doubt many of them are doing much of anything
but waiting for their downlines to grow.
I can pretty much guarantee that when the
quarterly
renewal comes due, and they check their genealogy,
and see a BIG FAT "0", they will not be renewing.
And when they don't renew, their upline's paychecks
will begin getting smaller, all the way up to the top...
at which time, those 258 Top Recruiters will decide
they are doing too much work for not enough pay
and drop out, leaving us to recruit for ourselves.
And, we're not supposed to have to recruit
for ourselves!
Can you see why I never wanted to join in
the first
place? I knew it would end like this all along.
I hate downline clubs. I hate programs
that state that they
will recruit for me. I KNOW better. I KNOW the numbers
are IMPOSSIBLE! And, most of all, I hate being a Sucker.
I'm just glad that I had the sense not to
advertise this
program to others - with the exception of one of my dear
friends - who has since forgiven me. (M., if you are reading
this, you have forgiven me, haven't you?)
My advice for the day is this: Be VERY
skeptical when
it comes to joining a program that says it will recruit for
you. Ask your sponsor lots of questions - not just
whether or not they are making money. Ask him/her
whether the company itself is responsible for any of
that money-making.
And, if you do join one of these programs,
don't promote
it to others until you see that it is working as promised.
Even if you know you can recruit, others might not
be able to, and will be joining simply because of the
"NO RECRUITING REQUIRED" statements they
see on the website, and this just isn't fair to them. At
the very least, tell them that they will have to recruit
in order to make any money.
Well, it looks like I'm all GRIPED OUT for
now.
But, I will be back with more gripes in a couple
of weeks.
Meanwhile, visit my
Money-Makers website to see
what's working for me now!
As always, once you join any of these
programs, I will
send you a Welcome Email, as well as the ads that I use
to get signups (in case you do decide to refer others).
Well, that's it for this issue of My Gripe Report, so
until next time, HAPPY MARKETING!
